Jackson is a landscape and portrait photographer whose work celebrates the deep connection between people and the natural world. Born in San Francisco and raised among the beaches, forests, and mountains of Marin County, he grew up surrounded by the wild beauty of Northern California — a landscape that continues to shape his creative vision.
He discovered photography at sixteen and quickly fell in love with the art of capturing the world through light, movement, and emotion. Over time, his camera became both a passport and a companion, leading him across the globe in search of untamed places and the stories they hold.
Today, Jackson specializes in outdoor portrait sessions that blend his love for wild spaces with his passion for authentic human expression. He believes that nature reveals something true in all of us — that when we’re surrounded by the elements, we connect more deeply to ourselves and to each other. His goal is to create images that feel both timeless and alive — portraits that honor the individuality of each person and the beauty of the landscape around them.
When not exploring new terrain with his camera, Jackson enjoys photographing life’s meaningful moments — from concerts and private gatherings to engagements, maternity sessions, and weddings — always with an eye for honest emotion and natural beauty.
